2018 WAC/CMCA Conference!

During the weekend of May 18-20, OCSEA's Women Action and Minority and Community Affairs committees will come together to host their second annual joint conference. This year’s conference theme is: The Dream Continues with Us.

The WAC and CMCA committees work to take on the issues that face public employee women and minorities in the workplace. There will be particular emphasis on unifying around national attacks to workers’ unions and the impact that the upcoming the Janus v. AFSCME U.S. Supreme Court case decision could have on women and minority public employees.

The Committees will also hold a canned food drive during the event to distribute to a local food pantry.

    The WAC and CMCA Committees ask that all attendees bring a canned good to the event to be donated to the local food pantry. Download flier.

    The registration fee is $110.00 and the deadline to register is May 4, 2018.  Registrations will NOT be accepted without payment. No refunds will be given after the registration deadline.  If you already have an OCSEA member ID badge, please bring it with you. Attendees who do not have an OCSEA member ID badge will get one at the conference.  

    Meals are included in the price of registration for all attendees. Please note: Attendees may purchase additional meal tickets for guests; however, they must be purchased in advance. Child meal tickets MUST be purchased as well. See below for extra meal ticket pricing. No meal tickets will be sold at the conference (no exceptions!) Attendees should indicate on the registration form if the require a vegetarian meal.
