Look for a confirmation letter this week of your dependents for state health care coverage. Even if you made no changes during health care open enrollment, you must review your confirmation letter to be sure your benefit choices and dependents are up to date.
The confirmation letter confirms your benefits and covered dependents for the benefit period July 1, 2019 thru June 30, 2020 unless you have a qualified event.
If your benefit choices are not correct or dependents are missing, you have until 5 p.m. on July 31, 2019 to submit any corrections. If you miss this deadline, you will have to wait until the next open enrollment period to update your coverage and/or dependents for benefits beginning July 2020.
