Giving Tree donation deadline is Dec. 22

Posted Dec. 19, 2017 by

As the OCSEA Bargaining Team fights for a fair and strong contract, they are asking for support in their efforts to give back to those less fortunate this holiday season. The team will continue collecting hats, gloves, socks and toiletries through this Friday, Dec. 22. Members can place the items on the Giving Tree located in OCSEA's Union Hall. The collections will aid those in need at our local shelters.

Please include sizes for ALL ages. Boxes for toiletries will also be available beneath the tree. The most-needed toiletry items include: shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste, brushes and combs, deodorant and lip balm.

"OCSEA members are the most generous people I know. They do so much on and off the job. I hope, as we come together as a team to fight for a fair and strong contract, that we will also come together to support those in our communities who need it the most," said OCSEA President and lead contract negotiator, Chris Mabe.
