OCSEA Presidents Conference

Presidents Conference goes virtual on Saturday, July 25

UPDATE: The OCSEA virtual Presidents Conference registration deadline has been extended to July 10. In addition, the OCSEA Board of Directors have opened up conference registration to more participants. Now, chapters can register 10 more participants in addition to their allowable delegates. Attendance to the conference counts toward steward certification.

This year’s OCSEA Presidents Conference is going virtual. Every off-convention year, OCSEA holds its Presidents Conference for subordinate body (chapter, district & assembly) presidents and their appointed delegates. This year’s conference will be held online via Zoom on Saturday, July 25, 2020. The Zoom room will open at 9:15 a.m., with the conference kicking off at 9:45 a.m.

The virtual conference will offer discussions and workshops on conducting Zoom meetings, Stewards in Crisis, the latest on the Freedom Foundation/OptOutToday and how the COVID-19 crisis is changing how leaders perform union work. The union’s Executive Leadership team will provide updates on the state budget and the state’s request to mid-term bargain.
