With so much uncertainty and change in our world today, one thing remains constant—the importance of helping those in need. For those Ohioans, including our family members, friends and co-workers, who have fallen on hard times, faced health challenges, or needed help to care for a child or elder, the State of Ohio Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) can make all the difference.

The 2020 CCC campaign will run from Aug. 26-Oct. 9. The Virtual Kickoff will take place on Aug. 26. All State employees are invited to view a kickoff video featuring the CCC co-chairs as well as State employees sharing their stories of giving. The video will be available in the Employee Resources tab on ohio.gov/ohioccc.

Through the CCC, State employees can donate online through ePledge or by paper pledge form. The campaign’s theme—Your Campaign. Your Choice.—underscores the opportunity to support charities that touch your heart with a choice of more than 1,100 approved charitable organizations, says OCSEA Vice-President and CCC Co-chair, Rocky Jolly. He encourages OCSEA members to give back as they are able during this unique time of economic uncertainty and ever-growing need and support. "OCSEA members are some of the most giving and charitable people I know. Not only do they give of themselves every day at their jobs, they always find a way to support the CCC and help out in their communities. OCSEA members are the epitome of heroism and goodwill. I know they will step up for the 2020 campaign as they always do," said Jolly.

Since its inception 30 years ago, the CCC has raised more than $100 million to support those in need. Starting Aug. 26, employees be able to log in and make pledges using the myCCC button on myOhio.gov.
