It is highly recommended that all first-time delegates attend a New Delegates Workshop offered during convention. The workshop will be held twice prior to the commencement of the Convention General Session. Any new delegate should attend one of the beginners' workshops being held Wednesday evening or Thursday morning.
New convention-goers will learn the ins-and-outs of convention, including how to conduct business, vote on amendments and resolutions and follow Robert's Rules of Order.
The workshop will also be streamed online; however, new delegates are encouraged to come network with new delegates.
All first year delegates should plan to attend:
Session 1: Wednesday, Aug 23 at 8-9:15 p.m. - Hyatt Regency B
Session 2: Thursday, Aug. 24 at 8 a.m.-9:15 p.m. - Hyatt Regency B
