At the recent OCSEA Biennial Convention held in Cincinnati in late August, television personality, proud progressive and friend of labor, Jerry Springer told the OCSEA convention crowd that unions are the ONLY institution that consistently fights for the middle class.
"God bless you, and God bless unions!" Springer told the union delegation, who he encouraged to stand up and be a part of the only solution: UNIONS! He said that there are "sinister forces" within the country attempting to take away every protection of the middle class and workers in America, including their unions. "Our economic system CANNOT survive without strong unions," he said.
