Office Professional Class review feedback needed

The joint union and management Office Professional Classifications Review Committee is currently seeking feedback. Position Description Questionnaires (PDQs) for the Office Professional classifications were submitted in February 2017. Those PDQs were reviewed, and new classifications for the Office Professional related-jobs have been drafted by DAS – Talent Management ( DAS-TM).

The classifications are in their infancy stages and draft form. The union-management Committee is looking for feedback from employees who currently work under the following classifications: Management Analyst, Office Assistant (1, 2 & 3), Word Processing Specialist 2 and Clerk (1, 2 & 3).

Draft classifications are posted online for comment until May 24, 2017. The Committee will use the feedback gathered to revise and finalize the new classification series. This feedback is critical for the classification review process to ensure the Committee has properly captured the work of employees within these classifications across all agencies.
