Register for online OCSEA Basic Steward Training

Basic Steward Training, covering the 2015–2018 contract between the State of Ohio and OCSEA, is now available online in a live Webinar format. This format is available for those members who are unable to attend any of the monthly Basic Steward Training classroom sessions held in Columbus, and for those members in chapters who do not have enough people interested to get Basic Steward Training classroom sessions scheduled on-request through your Staff Representative.

The training will be provided in six one-hour live webinar sessions. You must register for and attend all six separate sessions between February 7-23, 2017 to receive certification for having completed Basic Steward Training. You will need to have internet access AND a phone line to participate.


All sessions are held 6-7 p.m.

The current schedule is:
Session 1 – Tuesday, February 7, 2017
Session 2 – Thursday, February 9, 2017
Session 3 – Tuesday, February 14, 2017
Session 4 – Thursday, February 16, 2017    
Session 5 – Tuesday, February 21, 2017
Session 6 – Thursday, February 23, 2017

Registration will be open through 9:00 am, Monday, January 30, 2017.


Once registered you will receive an email confirming your registration with instructions you need to join the Webinar and have printed materials mailed to you.
