A huge shout out to Jeff Condo, president of Ohio Veterans Home Georgetown Chapter 800, who recently presented the Georgetown Veteran Home's activity director with a check for $6,100.
Annually, Jeff and his Tri-State Chevelle Club, of which he is the president, holds a car show. All funds go toward activities for Ohio veterans who live in the southern Ohio residence. The car show, which got so large it had to be moved offsite from the home to the county fairgrounds, has raised over $18,000 over four years for the veterans. Members and staff help out with the event as well, many attending with veterans so they can enjoy a day out and reminisce. Way to go Jeff and Chapter 800!
