The Combined Charitable Campaign (CCC) kicks off Tuesday, Aug. 19 and ends on Friday, Oct. 17 this year, and all OCSEA members are encouraged to participate as a way to give back to their communities and to important charities that make Ohio strong. The 2025 campaign goal for the State of Ohio is $2 million. Additionally, each agency also has its own goal, which will be shared with its staff by the agency director and/or agency campaign coordinator.
The CCC is an annual initiative that encourages State of Ohio employees to donate to one or more of 1,100 local, regional, and international charitable organizations. CCC consolidates many charitable campaigns into one, asking State of Ohio employees to voluntarily donate through payroll deductions or a one-time gift. Get the CCC Resource Guide HERE.
The CCC has been a joint union and state campaign for 35 years. "As public servants, giving back to the communities is a fundamental aspect of our roles," said OCSEA President Chris Mabe. "Contributions have the potential to foster significant change, ranging from advancing social justice and medical research to supporting education, nourishment, shelter, and environmental protection."
The CCC offers an online giving system, ePledge, which is a secure and efficient method of viewing and making contributions to the campaign. You may choose to make a payroll deduction or a one-time donation via credit card or electronic check. A minimum donation of $26 is required for credit card payments and electronic checks. Access the ePledge site through myOhio.gov (State News and Events page––click on the myCCC "Click to Donate" tile).
