SERIOUSLY, FREE COLLEGE!

While we all face new challenges in these extraordinary times, your pathway to advancement or a career change is still wide open with the OCSEA’s Free College program. Now, Central State University will be extending its FREE bachelor's degree into the fall season.

OCSEA Free College allows you to work safely from home online toward an associate degree or certificate, or a bachelor degree completely online, for zero dollars out-of-pocket. This includes the OCSEA FREE bachelor's program, through Central State University, which has been extended for ALL OCSEA members and their family members into the fall. CSU will award grants to those who continuously enroll beginning Aug. 17 for a bachelor’s degree for the entire 2-years of their bachelor’s degree.

  • No costs to you! Neither you nor participating family member will have any out of pocket costs for tuition, fees or e-books. Additional financial aid options are available for education-related costs. UET-eligible OCSEA members must use their negotiated education benefits in conjunction with this scholarship program.
  • Safe and convenient! Online programs are accessible anytime, anywhere.
  • No worries! Unemployed, furloughed or laid off union members and their families are all 100 percent eligible.

Enroll now for free! Members and family members who enroll for fall CSU classes starting August 17, 2020 can complete their bachelor's degree program for absolutely free. This includes bachelor's degree completion programs in Teacher Education, Criminal Justice and Business Administration. Students must have an Associate Degree or more than 60 transferable credits into the program of their choice in order to enroll. Students needing to earn pre-requisite credits can do so through EGCC.
