Last week our brothers at Burr Oak Regional Water District near Nelsonville voted unanimously to ratify their next three-year OCSEA contract. They are small, with only seven union members, but they sure are mighty! Kudos to the member bargaining team for securing an extremely strong local government contract for their public employee members who work in southeastern Ohio, where they've had their share of economic challenges. The union bargaining team was led by Burr Oak union members Kevin Plant, Jeffrey Eveland and Jerry Rehart. Read more on their victories in future union emails and publications.
