Nominate for the Bob White Labor Gives Back Award

Posted Dec. 22, 2016 by

The holidays bring out the best in OCSEA activists. From making sure families have food on the table to donating toys to children in need, union members have big hearts and are important members of their communities. Union leaders like those in Hocking Chapter 3700 and Dixie Chapter 4220 are doing what they can to take care of the less fortunate in their communities this holiday season.

To honor OCSEA activist Bob White's tradition of community service, “The Bob White Labor Gives Back Award” (formerly the OCSEA Horizon Award) will be given annually to active OCSEA members and/or chapters, districts, assembly leaders who display outstanding achievements in community service and charitable giving.

The winner of the Bob White Labor Gives Back Award will receive $500 to donate
to their charity of choice.

How is your chapter giving back to the community this holiday season? Send your stories to laborgivesback@ocsea.org to be spotlighted in our Labor Gives Back series.
