Governor DeWine has made the decision to ban the gathering of large groups of individuals (50 or more) in Ohio in the interest of public health and safety during the COVID-19 crisis. These closures are impacting many family attractions with OCSEA members discounts through our Extras discount program. At this time, all Ohio zoos, aquariums, and indoor water parks are closed to the public. Sporting events, including the OSU spring game and other sporting events, Blue Jackets hockey and Cavaliers basketball games (remaining NBA Season) have been postponed.
The union is currently working to update the Extras discount website with information on which vendors are closed and passing along information on rescheduling and how to proceed in the event that you pre-purchased tickets. As details on refunds/rescheduling become available, we will include that information. Policies on refunds/rescheduling will vary by attraction. Please be patient and stay turned for details as they become available.
