DYS already honored their top employees in anticipation of National Correctional Officers and Employees Week, coming up May 10-17. OCSEA member Starlet Arrington who works at Indian River Correctional Facility in Highland Hills got the top award this year.
Starlet has worked for DYS as a Youth Specialist for 11 years. In a DYS press release, IRJCF Superintendent Chris Freeman said Arrington gives the job 100 percent every day.
