Through the Career Improvement Program, your Union Education Trust offers up to $3,500 each year for college-credit courses, vocational training and specialty education. But now the union-negotiated education benefit program is being expanded to include coverage of mandatory fees.
Examples of the new coverage include building fees, library fees, studio art fees, computer fees, technology fees, new student fees, student ID fees, online learning fees and some specific class fees...money out-of-your pocket that can really add up.
Your Union Education Trustees, made up of union members like you, are dedicated to making education easier and more affordable. That's why they worked hard to expand this mandatory fee coverage. The new coverage will officially go into effect on Aug. 1, 2017.
