CCC is an easy way for State of Ohio employees to donate to one or more of 1,100 local, regional, and international charitable organizations. CCC consolidates many charitable campaigns into one, asking State of Ohio employees to voluntarily donate through payroll deductions or a one-time gift.
The CCC has been a joint union and state campaign for 35 years. All OCSEA members are encouraged to participate as a way to give back to their communities and to important charities that make Ohio strong.
Below is the CCC kick-off video that includes many OCSEA members who who talk about the importance of giving back to their communities. For Andrew Meador, an OOD union member and CCC committee member representing the union, he wants to give back to protect our public spaces. "I give because creating clean, beautiful parks makes Ohio beautiful for everyone," he said. For Leslie Tilton, an OCSEA leader in DRC, activist and CCC committee member representing the union, she says the CCC makes it easy to do the most good. "I can help multiple charities at once through payroll deduction," she said.
The video also includes messages from OCSEA Pres. Chris Mabe and Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel about the joint union and state initiative and the importance of union members participating in the annual CCC drive. Watch below:
