Labor Day 2018: A celebration of workers, unions

Posted Aug. 29, 2018 by

OCSEA activists and friends in labor will be out in full force next Labor Day weekend, standing proudly for union rights and all American workers. From parades to picnics, OCSEA members will proudly educate their communities about the necessity of unions for building a viable middle class. Labor Day celebrates the creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.

“Without unions, American prosperity and everything else that Labor Day stands for, wouldn’t be possible,” said OCSEA President Chris Mabe.
