[Update: Senate concurred with the House changes on SB5. The vote was the same as last time, 17-16. ]
Senate Bill 5, which makes it a crime for public workers to strike, eliminates step increases and longevity, prevents the union from negotiating health care, and a host of other punishing proposals, passed the Ohio House on a 53-44 vote. It's expected to be signed by Gov. Kasich tomorrow.
